Reading SheDoll Specifications: Dimensions, Weight and Missing Details

Read SheDoll measurements with their labels and units, distinguish product size from packaging, and identify the details a quotation must confirm.

A specification sheet is most useful when each number keeps its label, unit and configuration. Copying only a model name and a height leaves many practical questions unanswered. For a SheDoll purchase, build a small measurement record that explains what was measured, which options it describes and which details you still need from the seller.

Keep the label beside the number

Start by distinguishing complete height from body-only height. A listing can describe both, and the figures answer different questions. A head choice or assembly arrangement may also affect what is included in a measurement. Ask the seller to confirm which figure applies to the finished combination in your quotation.

Keep the original units even if you also make a conversion for your own planning. Round conversions consistently and label them as calculations. An apparent difference created by rounding should not become a product claim. If a metric and imperial pair appears inconsistent, ask which original measurement the seller intends to use.

The Griffin listing labels its height with the head as 190 cm and its body-only height as 170 cm. The figures describe different measurement boundaries on one configuration. Keeping those labels prevents a body-only figure from being treated as the assembled height.

Read circumferences and lengths separately

Waist, chest and hip measurements are normally presented as circumferences, while shoulder width and foot length describe different spans. Check the wording used on the actual page rather than assuming that every catalog follows one convention. A simple measurement diagram is useful when a label could have more than one meaning.

For clothing, collect the measurements of the garment itself and ask how it opens and fastens. For footwear, check usable inside dimensions and the intended fit. A familiar clothing or shoe size may help you locate an item, but the size label alone does not establish compatibility with a particular collectible.

Treat weight as a separate question

Height does not supply a reliable substitute for a stated weight. Material selection, internal construction and optional components can affect the configured item. Ask for the expected net weight of the complete order and a clear explanation of what that figure includes. If only a body weight is available, keep it labelled that way.

Ask whether the quoted weight is a typical figure, an estimate for the configuration or a measurement of an available item. Where a range is supplied, retain the range. Do not turn an estimate into a precise handling promise. Decide how the item will be received and moved after obtaining the manufacturer's relevant instructions.

Give packaging its own record

Outside carton dimensions and gross shipping weight belong in separate fields. Protective packaging and separately packed components can change the delivery requirements. Ask how many cartons are expected and what each contains. Use the dimensions of those cartons when checking entrances, corners, lifts and the unpacking area.

A published assembled height cannot tell you the carton orientation or the space needed to remove the contents. Request the actual packaging arrangement for the selected configuration. If a seller changes an accessory or shipping method, check whether the carton count, dimensions or gross weight change as well.

Handle missing and conflicting information openly

Leave a blank field marked “not provided” until you receive an answer. Borrowing a measurement from a similar photograph makes the record look complete while hiding uncertainty. If the product description, a diagram and a seller message disagree, quote the conflicting labels in one inquiry and request a corrected configuration sheet.

Save the response with its date. A later update may clarify an earlier listing, but both numbers should not remain in your final order record without explanation. Ask the seller to identify the current specification and any stated variation, especially when a tight storage or accessory fit depends on it.

Send a concise confirmation list

Your final message can request the exact head and body references, selected material, finished dimensions, net weight, carton sizes and gross weights together. Add any measurements needed for clothing or storage. This creates a usable specification record for the SheDoll configuration you are considering. SheDolls explains how to read the available information; the figures and final compatibility still require confirmation for the actual order.
