Two 163 cm Textured Bodies: Why Height Is Not a Unique Model Reference

The June 2025 comparison gave different weights for two versions sharing a height label.

Two 163 cm Textured Bodies: Why Height Is Not a Unique Model Reference

SheDoll’s June 10, 2025 article distinguished two 163 cm textured silicone bodies. It listed the earlier version at 44 kg, or 35 kg with weight reduction, and the revised version at 48 kg, or 37 kg with weight reduction. The company described changes to the body shape and said the two-version choice concerned textured silicone. These are the figures in that dated comparison, not confirmed weights for every later assembled order.

Keep all four labels attached to the numbers

The figures are easy to misread if copied into a shortlist without their version names. Use separate fields for body version and weight option. Then add a third field explaining whether the figure covers the body alone, the assembled item or the packed shipment. If the source does not settle that last point, ask the seller rather than assuming. A precise-looking number can still be incomplete when its scope is unclear.

Compare one change at a time

To understand the body revision, compare the two standard versions first and then compare the two weight-reduced versions. To understand weight reduction, compare standard and reduced versions of the same body. Mixing these comparisons obscures which selection accounts for the difference. Keep material, head and included accessories consistent when requesting quotations so that the comparison remains meaningful.

Use a visual reference with the written version

Ask the supplier to label the photographs of the exact version you intend to order. A height and a familiar character name may not identify the underlying body revision. Include front, side and back views if overall proportions are central to your decision. Keep the approved reference image with the quotation so that the visual choice and the written specification describe the same item.

Plan around the confirmed handling weight

After choosing a configuration, request its current net and packed weights, packing dimensions and approved handling method. Use those answers for the delivery plan. Do not assume that the lowest historical figure is the weight you will need to move after adding the selected components. Check the route to the intended room and arrange suitable help according to the actual information supplied.

Make a version-specific decision

The useful lesson of the comparison is not that one version is universally preferable. It is that a shared height label can cover materially different orders. The best option for a particular buyer depends on documented proportions, handling requirements and the available selections. SheDolls has not weighed or tested these bodies; the figures here preserve the manufacturer’s historical comparison and identify the questions a current quote should resolve.
